The above photo has been on the Los Angeles Paranormal Association's website since 2010 and pictures a section of the Gaylord front. The association has no word as to why this image is there, but the tenant who resides there does know the reason. The 2 windows on the top half of the photo are to a bedroom, but that is not where the spirit/entity resides or at least not up until recently. The activity would take place behind the next window to the right (which is hidden by the balcony here), the bathroom. Every night this spirit/entity would try to enter from the bathroom into the bedroom, through the locked door, but to no avail. Until one night recently, when it gave a demanding push on the door. Having dealt with this nightly action for 5 years and not feeling threatened by it, the tenant on this night, finally got up out of bed and gave a forceful push back on the door, then opened the door and told whoever on the other side to 'STOP!' The following morning, sage was lit and traced around all of the door frames, windows and throughout the apartment to clear the air. It has been quiet ever since...
It was just another one of those lingering Gaylord spirits from its' 91 year history that needed to move on. And then there are the stories of the bellhop and the flapper girl...
