Neon Lights of...

Recently, the Museum of Neon Art, located on Brand Avenue in Glendale, highlighted our historical rooftop neon in a self-guided walking tour called, "Light Walks, Brilliant Koreatown." Read more at https://store.neonmona.org/collections/gift-certificates/products/mona-light-walks-koreatown
Pictured (above), is an ad for "Nealite" in our July 1927 issue of "Gaylord Glimpses," the date our rooftop neon was installed. In the top right corner of the ad it reads, "The two largest Nealite apartment house signs in Los Angeles are now being installed on the Gaylord."
When museums start to re-open you should plan a trip to MONA to see all of the fun vintage neon signs they have in their collection. They even have a "Brown Derby" neon (our old neighbor)! For more info neonmona.org
