New Trees For Our Street...

Approximately 3 weeks ago, I sent an email to our Wilshire Center Business Improvement District requesting could they PLEASE replace the missing crepe myrtle trees, in the street median between the Gaylord and the RFK Inspiration Park, that had been knocked out over the years from vehicles driving into them. I am happy to report, this morning, 5 new young crepe myrtle trees were planted in the street median to fill in the gaps where they had gone missing from. They really do add some beautiful color to the neighborhood when they are in bloom in the summertime. Please take note the next time you walk by and hopefully these new trees will have a longer lifespan than their forbears. (Don't text and drive. Don't drink and drive... you may just save a tree.)

THANK YOU WILSHIRE CENTER BID!
