Dia de los Muertos...

This past Saturday was the annual 'Dia de los Muertos' event at Hollywood Forever cemetery. It was another colorful, festive year of celebrating those that have passed on.

and then I giddily came across this headstone while walking through the event. Life is all about...

Just Another Typical Day...

...in the Gaylord lobby, yesterday, and just another typical cult superhero stops by to make sure all is okay.

Autumn in New York...

Harry stopped by to visit Joe, at the Gaylord Front Desk, this afternoon. What a visit! A magical event.

A Facade, Yet Approachable...

A Bygone Era...

Back when TWA and the 'colorful gardens of the Ambassador Hotel' existed. This image was a part of one of the early (judging by the automobiles, most likely the 1930's) original brochures touting the features of the Gaylord, 'On high ground...'

Notice the palm trees on the right (east) side of the Gaylord. They are still standing and much taller today, with the top palm fronds reaching the heights between the 6th & 7th floors.
